We also collect usage data including documents created, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our services.

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve our services; personalise your experience and generate AI-powered content tailored to your academic profile; process transactions and send related information; send technical notices, updates, and support messages; respond to your comments and questions; and comply with legal obligations.
3. AI-Generated Content
SeleScribe uses artificial intelligence to generate academic content. All content generated through our platform is produced using AI models including OpenAI GPT-4o and DeepSeek. We do not store the full text of your generated documents on our servers beyond what is necessary for the service. You retain full ownership of all content you generate using SeleScribe.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Payment processing is handled by Flutterwave and we do not store payment card details on our servers.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with: service providers who assist in our operations (Supabase, Flutterwave, OpenAI); when required by law or to protect our rights; and in connection with a merger or acquisition of our company.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
